Fattoria Casamora
Architect designed olive oil farm

Fattoria Casamora is an estate of a thousand hectares in the high Valdarno. A former convent of the late seventeenth century, later converted into a farm, surrounded by olive groves and acres of unspoilt nature. Restored and re-designed by the owner of the estate, architect Mr Maurizio Montani, who has given the estate a new life and a new purpose. Casamora today offers luxurious hospitality in beautifully designed rooms in the main building, “Borgo” and in the stunning private villas scattered around the main square of the estate. The Fattoria produces prize winning olive oil, has a small restaurant open for the estates guests. A library, theatre and other common spaces to relax and spend time together in a beautiful and a little less beaten corner of Tuscany. Excellent location also for working groups, team buildings and special occasions.

The piazza is the centre of life in the hamlet, just like in ancient times.

The library is a calm space for work, study and reflect.

The scene is yours!

Each of the Casamora homes are named after the tree they stand in the shadow of. They give character to the buildings they protect and are an important part of the story and purpose of the estate, and the family history.
